Hello, lovely people! So glad to have you stop by! Welcome to our second artist feature devfeatures. Each week you can enjoy a small selection of artists working in various media. The artists picked will be relatively unknown, have a distinct style and great mastery over their respective craft. For this week I'm proud to introduce you to KlementinaMoonlight, MalariaArt, and blackBanshee80. I hope you leave with at least a few new favourites and if you enjoy the feature, fav it or share it and help spread the word.
Kristina is a traditional artist who uses a variety of traditional media to achieve a very distinct and eye-catching look. What impresses me most about her paintings is how the shapes seem to float in front of your eyes, as if they are liquid, or a part of old-school hand-drawn animation and any moment they will come alive. This impression is also intensified by her incredible use of color, which simply jumps off the page.
Michal is a relatively new deviant but already has an impressive collection of works in his gallery. The fantasy/sci-fi worlds he crafts are beautifully surreal with mysterious objects emerging from the fog, dark hulking silhouettes of unknown creatures lurking around the corner and explosions of vivid color breaking up the bleak, desert-like landscapes.
Marga's art is also based around fantasy but with a completely different feel. Her characters are timid, maybe even a little lost creatures who hesitantly approach the human world. Their designs are intricate and charming and they look so alive you feel they might start talking to you any minute. They exude a childlike innocence and curiosity that makes her gallery an absolute pleasure to behold.
Please, make sure you stop by the artists' pages and leave a comment - tell them how awesome they are or simply say hi.

Why I've been away and my 6th (?) DD
Let me start out by thanking Kelly (@lovelessdevotions) for featuring my Goddess of Rain on the Daily Deviation page. It really made my day especially since I'd been dealing with a lot of insecurity lately. You might have noticed I've been pretty much absent from dA and social media in general apart from the occasional artwork. I do miss the community but this is probably going to stay like this for a while still. I have been dealing with a lot of bureaucracy related to our move at the end of last year, not to mention a very stressful work environment, which doesn't show promises of improving, and with refocusing my time and efforts on improving my painting skills. I hope at least the latter has been noticeable in my work, though I feel like I've finally hit the ceiling of self-taught and need to find a suitable alternative. Have you got any recommendations for online art schools that are illustration focused and flexible? I have also been working on a secret-not-so-secret-anymore
My third DD and other goodies
It seems like DeviantArt doesn't want to let me go without a fight, huh? :D A lot of you must be familiar with the frustrations and inefficiencies of Eclipse, so let's not focus on that (no matter how tempting). The fact is, I haven't been around, not on any level similar to before. That has little to do with my passion for art, or with Eclipse, as much as we love to hate it. In fact, 2020 has been so far the most productive time of my life with over one painting a month, plus countless sketches that I've been too shy to share. But here's one for you, that I only posted on Insta: I've also taken my first commission by the amazing Martin Nenov, who has been a joy to work with. And I have enough ideas and works in progress to last me for the next two years! The thing is, I've been sick. Not sick and tired, though maybe a bit tired, too, but mainly sick. I've been diagnosed with a sort of chronic condition that really screwed with my illusion of invincibility. Not life-threatening
Artistic Mischief
How are your new year's revelation moving along? Have you achieved any of your goals yet?
For me, these recent months have been really busy and full of art, some of it is unfinished, some of it not ready to be revealed. But I've still created more than ever before, and it's nowhere close to fizzling out. My head and my notebook are full of ideas, each more ambitious than the last. And thanks to focusing more on learning I feel like I really made a leap with my art compared to the plateau I was stuck on for quite some time.
I don't have anyone else around me that shares my passion apart from my lovely fiance, and that endsup feeling a bit l
